Primosten

Inhabited since the Illyrian and Greek times, Primošten is a famous tourist destination as well as a wine and olive-growing region. The town consists of the old part (peninsula) connected by a bridge with its new part which is now arranged as a modern tourist center. In the past, this peninsula was an island, and the very name of the town reflects the connection of the island with the mainland (Primošten = Croatian 'at the bridge' - from 'to bridge') Primošten is known for its beautiful, traditional stone architecture, many beautiful beaches with the crystal-clear sea, and as a special tourist attraction you have the traditional donkey race. Thanks to its excellent location between Šibenik and Trogir and the vicinity to the international airport, Primošten has been a sought-after and highly active market when it comes to buying and selling real estate.
